Rhode Island’s longest-running sketch-comedy showcase, the Empire Revue picks apart a new theme each month with original sketches and songs darting hilariously between pithy and poignant, lofty and low-brow, satirical and generous, warm and idiotic.
Amplified by a live house band and palate-cleansed by a handful of guest artists (comedians, musicians, dancers, and whatevers), each show’s inviting energy builds to a curated explosion of performance.
The Empire Revue takes place every few months at AS220’s Blackbox Theater in Providence, RI.
Kismet Improv is a live comedy theater and comedy education center. They offer four shows each week, including their signature Friday and Saturday improv shows performed by Rhode Island's best comedians. They have a bar, snacks, and guarantee a fun night out in Pawtucket, R.I.
